Netvision delivers FTTH fiber broadband, ultra-broadband and managed web hosting to homes and businesses across Bhutan. Every subscriber sits on a tiered plan with its own billing cycle anchor, prorated upgrades, and renewal dates. The pre-aBit billing run was a Word template, a spreadsheet of subscribers, and an entire morning every month spent re-keying customer details, calculating GST, and emailing PDFs one by one. Missing an active subscriber meant a free month — and it happened more often than anyone would like to admit.
Netvision now configures each subscription as a Recurring Invoice in aBit Invoice — one per customer, set to the right frequency, lead time, and auto-issue toggle. The scheduler runs every morning at 06:00: new invoices are issued, GST is computed against the right tax category, customer ledgers update, and QR-verified PDFs go out without anyone clicking a button. Plan upgrades create a new recurring entry; cancellations pause it. The monthly GST report rolls up the entire subscriber base in one click for filing.
